Turkey - TSS Service Scandinavia (DAY 4)

Day 3 started early. Some people got tempted for a balloon ride while sunrise, but we decided to skip that part too. I actually would really love to do that, but at that time we could hear only bad things about balloon's trips in Turkey, so we decided to be safe than sorry. Anyways, people got up in the early morning just to hear that the weather condition doesn't allow balloons to raise. Maybe it's better, because our friendly family really wanted to try this things.

So when our alarm rung it was around 8 o'clock. Because I have a problem with getting up in the morning, we went to eat breakfast at 8:30. Breakfast was good. It was a buffet form, so you could try everything you dreamed about. The crew was really friendly and everything was so hygienic!
Sharp at 9 we were in the bus. As our guide said - we headed into Goreme.
The view on the way was just amazing! We also stopped for a second, just to take a picture.

Of course my crazy boyfriend wouldn't be himself, if he would not try to go down the valley, when no one was watching. Gladly, the rest of travelers waited for us in the bus and didn't just drive away, cause we were gone for some time ;)

The next stop was at the Urgop Yolu hill. We could decide if we want to drive in the car down the valley or walk down by feet. Of course we picked the second option, which is giving as much freedom as possible. Some older people decided to go with the bus and we agreed the time to meet downstairs.
Of course me and Jeppe had to see every cave and everything, which looked special. We were climbing for the highest hills, just to see the most beautiful view.

Finally, we reached the rest of the travelers and we headed into a village (Zelve Yolu) where we could pay for the bathroom or spend some more money for souvenirs. This time we didn't get tempted at all, but some of our friends left there a lot of money. That is what we could get from the place, while everyone was chilling and buying souvenirs.

So far so good. Only this bathroom... Ladies were happy that they had a place to sit, guys had only a hole in the floor, where they should... Well, they should use the hole.

Right after grabbing some more money from the tourists, we went for the "love valley" at Goreme. I would say that it was really pretty, but we have seen some more interesting views on the way.
Right after, people who ordered lunch went to some fancy restaurant in Kappadokya and we ate our lunch pack made at breakfast and went sightseeing. That place looked really fancy. Only nice cars, really pretty houses. This place completely didn't look like the previous places we visited, where people lived. Here was the rich neighborhood.
We went for the petrol station to buy us some snacks and drinks. We bought things and then we payed by card. I really felt uncomfortable, because while paying people were looking really weird at us and laughing. I don't know if it had something to do with the fact that it was a girl who paid for everything, not a guy, or what?

Right when people from our trip stopped complaining, that the food wasn't as good as they expected and that everything was very expensive, we went to a really nice place in Kappadokya - Vadiler Sk. The place was an old city, where ancient people lived in caves. Now, some of the places were used as a hotel or restaurant, but mostly everything was for tourists.
We enjoyed that place with Jeppe soooo much. We both love climbing and crawling into small holes, just to see what's inside.

Here we found a catholic symbols and catholic chapel!

We also found a nice code for a WIFE ;)

Of course we got invited for a cup of Turkish tea, where we could BUY a tea. Of course, how simple? But this time we bought something as a souvenirs for our families. They enjoyed the tea! The green pack, not the red.

After that, we could choose if we want to go back to the hotel or go for a Turkish hamam. That is a place where you get massaged while lying on the hot stones. I love that place, so we didn't care how much it cost and we went to enjoy ourselves. No matter how high is the price - it is always worth to visit hamam when you are in Turkey!

After lovely visit in "spa", we got driven to the hotel. While people were enjoying their free time, we took a taxi and went for the nearest shopping center. We just wanted to see how it looks like and what offers they have. Of course everyone there looked so weird at us, but I didn't care anymore. I felt safe there. They has even some nice things in H&M and I didn't resist in buying some souvenirs. The shopping center was called Forum.
It was a really lovely day full of exercises, so after the dinner we simply went to sleep. We were so super tired and we got told, that the next time we will have another portion of walking. Well... that's why we came there!

So lesson after this day: don't follow everyone else. Sometimes you get get further away on your own. We definitely didn't regret any second we split up from the group, while they were eating their fancy meals.
